DIY Nekter Health Nut

This is my go-to home made protein smoothie recipe. The perfect fix for your #HANGRY situation.
I use to live 2 miles from Nekter and I miss it something terribly. I loved to get their Heath Nut for a quick lunch, snack, morning, afternoon, really whenever actually. I'll say it again, I'm no food blogger but I am somewhat of a Vitamix expert. Smoothies, soups you name it, I have made it. They're not cheap but mine surely gets it use! For that reason, I am serving up another one of my favorite #vitamix recipes. This one is great for after a workout but I specifically love it for when I am hangry. It keeps me full and fueled.
Chobani low sugar Vanilla greek yogurt
handful of almonds
handful of cashews
1 (or 2) overflowing tablespoon of your favorite nut butter
submerge in almond milk
top with a sprinkle of cinnamon
I have made this smoothie with both almond butter and NUTTZO mixed seed and nut butter. I prefer it with the NUTTZO butter and you can find it on amazon here, but it is a MUCH better deal at Costco.
If you want to beef it up a little bit more you can add oats too! In fact, if you have ever done a Nekter juice cleanse this is the final of the 6 drinks for the day, because it really is pretty filling!
